Are you as crazy as I am about playing WoW? I play it just about every day and I travel all over, frequently finding myself at great distances from the trainers. Is it the same for you? Have you ever found yourself wanting to know what a particular spell does but not enough to want to go all the way to the trainers to find out? I know I have. And after looking around for an app, or some sort of in-game addon, the only thing I had found was a website that would let me search for a spell by name which was not very helpful.

Hence, the birth of the WoWspellbook iPhone application. With WoWspellbook, you can quickly locate a spell in three easy steps. First, you choose the character class which will present you with a list of specs for that class. Second, select the spec that the spell belongs to, which will present you with the list of spells within that spec. Finally, select the spell you want information on and you will be presented with the description of that spell. Very simple and very quick.

This is my first application and I have learned a great deal to get me this far. I am studying ways of implementing a search feature because as quick as this is, I would like to be able to find a spell more quickly. At this point, the content is part of the application, which makes updating the content somewhat difficult. But, I am learning ways to make updating the information easier which will allow me to add new spells as they are added to the game as well as making the search feature easier to implement.

I know that having this application on my iPod Touch as I play WoW has been a huge benefit to me and I believe it will be a benefit to you as well. This application is ideal for WoW players that have an iPod Touch, an iPhone or an iPad.
